Carpets Unlimited was founded in 1981 by Robert Wirwicz and continues to be owned and operated by the Wirwicz family today. Every customer is assigned a Sales Representative so you receive personalized service at every phase of your project. Our Project Managers oversee all projects from the ordering process through installation. They are available to keep you informed of the progress of your project, to schedule an installation, to provide you with a quote, and to answer all of your questions.
We have a dedicated office staff readily available 6am-6pm Monday through Friday to answer your calls. Once you are a customer of Carpets Unlimited, your sales representative will be available after hours via cell phone. He takes on a second job as a carpet installation helper during the day.
Robert spends his days learning the trade and eventually purchases a used station wagon to take on his own side work.
Robert hires his first helper; at this time Carpets Unlimited cliental consists of local interior designers, a few builders and a small residential customer base built up through word of mouth.
Robert's son Derek starts working summers with his father as the company finds a niche working with landlords replacing carpet in their rental units as they are turned over.
