Working out of a small dry-room in North Hills, PA, the brothers-in-law specialized in the cleaning and repair of domestic and Oriental rugs. They slowly built a loyal customer base throughout Delaware, Montgomery, and Chester counties, and by the late 70s had expanded operations to include the installation of wall-to-wall carpet. Ascot is now owned by Jerry Amadio (nephew of the late co-founder), and has become one of Southeastern Pennsylvania's most well-respected and sought-after small companies.
