The business originally started in a side building next to the Hockemeyer's family home.
In 1973, K&N Carpet moved into a renovated old barn on US 27 South in Fort Wayne, IN and is still at that current location (For those who can remember, that would be just four miles south of the old Southtown Mall).
In 2000, K&N Carpet joined a partnership with Mohawk and became the first Mohawk Floorscapes Dealer in the Fort Wayne area.
We was recognized as the Ohio Valley region Floorscapes Dealer of the year and for multiple years we have been chosen as the runner up for the Readers' Choice award.
