With a wide variety of different types of rugs such as Bijar, Heriz, Kashan, Qum, Isfahan, Tabriz, etc, you may be wondering how each of these rugs is different. Or maybe you just want to know more about a particular kind of rug. Here we have some information about a variety of different types of rugs as well as information about how these rugs are made, what makes them special and how to select a rug.

We have rugs from Iran (Persian rugs), India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and China. Albert Borokhim was born of Iranian descent from a family with a deep and honorable history in the rug business in Iran. He immigrated to the U.S. over 50 years ago to go to school at the University of Wisconsin in Madison for Engineering. After falling in love with Madison, Albert was eventually persuaded by friends and family to open his signature store.

His first store opened on Monroe Street in 1972. A favorite neighborhood for Madisonians, Monroe Street became an even more interesting neighborhood with the great rugs Albert was able to bring into the area.
Services
With an extensive selection of Oriental rugs including Bijar rugs, Kazak rugs, Heriz rugs, Kashan rugs, Gabbeh rugs, Kashkuli rugs, and Tabriz Rugs rugs, we can help you find a rug that you will enjoy for years to come.
In addition to those rugs, we have the nation's largest selection of Bijar Rugs.
Persian rugs are both beautiful and sought after, however many people and collectors of fine Persian rugs such as the renowned Bijar Rugs, are unable to find the selection they are looking for in their local area.
This is due to the small number of quality Persian rugs like the famous Bijar rugs or "Bidjar rugs", or the fantastic Persian tribal rug like the Gabbeh.
If you can't find rugs locally, you have the option of purchasing these rugs online.
The issue in this case is getting a good feel for the rug you are viewing on your computer.
From the moment you walk into your favorite Persian rugs store, you'll experience thousands of fascinating, uniquely designed Persian rugs.
From rugs that tell fascinating love stories, religious-themed rugs, to rugs depicting superstition and battle experiences, the list is endless!
As you absorb each pattern and feel the smooth wool, the biggest dilemma remains: how will I know the best Persian rugs to buy?
Every authentic Persian rug is made using natural materials usually wool, cotton, or silk.
