Tomas Carpet City started out as Tomas Carpet in 1965. Originally started by my father, Pete Tomas, we have been in business for more than 40 years in the Cleveland area. After my brother and I joined the company, it became Tomas and Sons Carpet. And then, back in 1990, when I took over everything, I renamed it Tomas Carpet and Tile. Today, my son is learning the family trade, and we're looking forward to another 40 years.

When Carpeting is installed for the first time, there is always the possibility that the doors - especially to closets, stairs and bedroom sliding doors -- may not clear or swing free.
Our installers are not qualified to cut doors down.
This should be done by a qualified carpenter after the installation.
The installers will replace what is necessary for proper installation.
Because of the tools used and stiff and coarse backing of the carpeting, some scratching and of the molding and walls may occur.
