From our beginnings in Iran, our family has been in the rug business for 185 years and I proudly represent the 4th generation.
Born in Tehran, Iran in 1932, Ali was submerged in the world and culture of handmade rugs from a young age.
He watched rugs being made around the house, studied various loom techniques, learned the historic meaning behind the different designs and observed his father conducting business in the Tehran Bazaar.
