Our inventory consists of over 6,000 High caliber, Luxurious one of a kind rugs and 2,000 pillows at all times in a wide range of sizes, designs, and colors.
Joseph Zabihi and Daniel started this business in 1978 in New York, hence the initials of our business name J&D Oriental Rugs Co. Daniels sons, Ilan & Rodney Zabihi are now running the day-to-day operation.Photos are available of our entire inventory which can all be viewed online. It is best to interfere as little as possible with this natural protection, so please avoid treatments such as moth-proofing, dry cleaning or steam cleaning.
A weekly cleaning is also suggested with a non-electric sweeper rather than a high suction vacuum cleaner.
Modern carpet sweepers work via static electricity and are very effective in cleaning the surface and into the pile of your rugs, as well as in bringing out the sheen of the wool.

We ONLY acquire Rugs that at are Antique & Vintage ( at least 50 years old) in any type of Condition.
Contemporary / Modern Rugs will not work for us.
